Sunday Stillness – Romans 10:11

Sunday Stillness – Romans 10:11

Romans-10-11

Oh I get so much wisdom from reading my Bible. As I prepared for my blogging holiday which officially ends today – Mother’s Day, I read through the New Testament in a Lenten Study spurred on my Margaret Feinberg.

Trust – an amazing word.

We are told not to put our hope in man but in God. Trust in Him with all our heart, our souls and our minds.

And as we trust in Him we will not be shaken.

One of the first songs I heard just after I accepted Christ’s call to follow Him, was I will Not be Shaken.. and the worship team sang NO NO after they said that. Very powerful.

I will not be shaken – no no.

I will not be moved. I will not be shaken.

Here is the video of that song I will Not Be Shaken by Vineyard. Glad to be back. I hope to continue with Sunday Stillness for a long time to come. I pray that you will enjoy the posts joined together with Under the Cover of Prayer.

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for loyal followers of this blog – but mostly importantly followers of You. As we study and learn together help us become a close community – fervent in prayer. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen. If I can pray for you please email me at Under the Cover of Prayer.

Read the Sunday Stillness rules if you are new here.

I would appreciate if you would link only about God’s Word. If you have a linky party that’s okay if it is about the same thing. Please no sales or prizes. I want this to be friendly but I must ask you to abide by the rules. Others want to read God’s Word – and that is what I would like the links to be about. I must take down the links that don’t follow the rules. Thanks so much.

    1. Nina,
It is wonderful to be back and connecting again. It takes time but means so much to reach out to everyone who lands here.
      Blessings to you,
      Janis

  1. All else is hopeless without TRUST in HIM! Thank you, Janis, for the gentle reminder 🙂

BTW- I linked up but understand if you remove it. I wrote about Mother’s Day and grief. Love to you for a great week in the Lord!

    1. Anne,
Close enough – both Mother’s Day and grief are in need of the comfort of our Lord. Thanks for linking it.
      Blessings to you,
      Janis

I love to connect with you.
