HOW CAN I PRAY FOR MY NEIGHBOUR?

How Can I Pray for my Neighbour?

Pray for your Neighbours

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it:

“Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22: 37-39, KJV).

Why is it so hard to share the message of Christ with my neighbours?

I think it’s the familiarity that makes it hard. My neighbours know I go to church and therefore must associate with the faith but seldom do we get beyond that knowledge and it’s a hard subject to approach.

I need to pray more for my neighbours. Pray that God will open the opportunities to share more about His part in my life. When I’ve done this, I’ve noticed more openness. But like so many things, my prayer life suffers and so does my love for my neighbour. I need to refocus, evaluate my priorities and remember where my neighbors are without Christ.
