Creative Saturdays – Tadeo Turtle Oil Pastel Resist

Creative Saturdays – Tadeo Turtle Oil Pastel Resist

At my experimental workshop for watercolour we looked at many materials that will resist watercolour.

Today I am experimenting with Oil Pastels.

I used only white oil pastel to paint the outline of my picture. You can do lines, circles, solid pieces. You can use different colours. The picture is hard to see but I hope you get the idea.

Don’t forget to send me your child’s pictures. Send them to Janis Cox and I will put them up in the Children’s Gallery.

Please check out more about my book Tadeo Turtle on Tadeo’s Page. You will find more activities at the back of my book. And a 24-page curriculum is available if you ask.
