Creative Tuesdays – Chillin’ With Art
Because we are “chillin'” this week at a cottage – just resting and enjoying family, I chose a piece I did a while ago that reminds me of laid back summer days in Canada. I understand some people are too hot in summer but where we are we are delighted with warmer weather, especially if we can cool off in the water.
Good news that made me have a happy dance this week, I found out that 2 of my watercolour batik paintings sold at the Rails End Gallery last month along with my children’s story, Tadeo Turtle.
These are the two that sold.
So enjoy wherever you are – hot or cold. We are always content with Jesus – right?
Please visit Creative Tuesdays to see other delightful artwork from our group.

It’s so nice you can get away and enjoy some down time. Congrats on selling your paintings. I love the one of the fish!
Lovely watercolor!!!! It reminds me of our summer in Ontario this year.
Congratulations, Janis, on selling your beautiful art and your super book. I love all three paintings. The top one reminds me of PEI (not that I’ve been there). Fantastic job. ๐

I thought I left a comment…but I guess it “poofed”. Congratulations on your sales. How rewarding is that. They are all lovely, but I’m drawn to the last one of the fish. Have a great day. Hugs
