I Brake for Turtles

I know I am on a Sabbath break from blogging – but today is World Turtle Day. I felt compelled to write.

It is sad to say, but I really didn’t notice turtles on the road until I wrote my book Tadeo Turtle. All of a sudden I realized that the rock on the road was really a turtle.

So please watch out, especially at this time of year … they are crossing our roads. So please brake for turtles. I mean – be safe and don’t swerve – just slow down or go around them safely.
