Sunday Stillness – Sabbath
Seven weeks ago I took my first Sabbath rest from blogging. It refreshed me. So once again I am taking this week not to blog. I will keep the linky open for 2 weeks so if you want to come back and add your post please do so. I love to read them and comment. (just not this week).
I find that I need to be wise – and this is my way of being wise.
Blessings,
Janis
Remember to be wise and when you need a rest – take it.

Read the Sunday Stillness rules if you are new here.
I would appreciate if you would link only about God’s Word. If you have a linky party that’s okay if it is about the same thing. Please no sales or prizes. I want this to be friendly but I must ask you to abide by the rules. Others want to read God’s Word – and that is what I would like the links to be about. I must take down the links that don’t follow the rules. Thanks so much.

Hi Janis! So glad to have found you. I love to be encouraged by God’s promises, and find encouragement in your writings. Tried to Link in “SUNDAY STILLNESS” hope I did it right! Blessings.
I learned much from my sweet mother, as you did from yours. It is a special blessing to have a mother who is kind and teaches us truth. Thank you for your lovely comments at my recent post.
Thanks Hazel,
And yes it is a pleasing to have parents who have raised us in love, respect and faith.
Blessings,
Janis
Hi Janis!! Wishing you a lovely week 🙂
Enjoy your rest.
I should follow your wise example.
Dear Janis,I have also had a small break from the blog / online activities, which has been good. Have a blessed and restful week!
Nina
Janis, enjoy your time of rest. I too will be taking a small break from writing these next couple weeks to spend some time resting with my hubby before he departs for a month. Many blessings to you. Thank you again for your kind heart in letting us share here. XO
Your verse from Ephesians blessed me this morning…thank you and may your week of rest give you the sweet fruit of peace.
Janis, I hope you are enjoying your rest. Sometimes we just need to unplug and focus on our Lord. Thank you for reminding me 🙂
Janis,
I love your wisdom, and your willingness to follow the Lords’ lead. You are an inspiration and I love your blog. God bless you!

Thanks Mia,
I will breathe in the Spirit for the week. I do need to keep making Tadeos though.
Blessings,

God knew people would need to rest. Even God rested after he finished creating everything. I don’t post on my blogs nearly as much as I used to, but now I spend a lot of time (too much time) on facebook. I need to take a sabbath rest from that. Glad you rediscovered Spiritual Sundays.
Blessings,
Charlotte
Charlotte,
Actually you are right the blogs don’t take a lot of time to write but the social media that goes with them does take time.
Praying that you will be able to take a Sabbath Rest as well.
Blessings,
janis
Although I do not do half of what you do Jan, I am trying to find some rest as well this week. It seems God teaches me more when I have a rested mind and heart.
Rest is good for all of us. I am going to be early tonight as well.
Blessings,
