Sunday Stillness – Isaiah 30:15
Welcome to Sunday Stillness. For the past week I attended a workshop for 5 days on Experimental Watercolour. It took me out of my comfort zone and stretched me.
I learned that as in all things we must practice in freedom. I have learned this in writing – to write we must write a lot; so too in watercolour – I must use up the paper and paint – and just do it.
Thinking of our faith – it is true as well – the more we practice prayer – the better we become at communicating with God.
So here is today’s Sunday Stillness:
Focus on God this week – and in trust look to Him for your comfort and strength.

Read the Sunday Stillness rules if you are new here.
I would appreciate if you would link only about God’s Word. If you have a linky party that’s okay if it is about the same thing. Please no sales or prizes. I want this to be friendly but I must ask you to abide by the rules. Others want to read God’s Word – and that is what I would like the links to be about. I must take down the links that don’t follow the rules. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much Janet.

Your verse is a great encouragement to me me, Janis: In quietness and trust is your strenght – I’ve marked it in my Bible and written it down! Blessings to you, Yanis, and thank you for hosting the Sunday Stilness!
Nina
Nina,
I am so happy that you can get encouragement from this.
Blessings,

Dear Janis
My oldest son’s girlfriend is an artist and paints beautifully. She once told me that people are afraid of paint and therefore never even pick up a paint brush. Let us never be afraid to paint with words and prayers!

Mia
Mia,
Found you in the spam! Not sure why. Thanks so much. I totally agree – fear keeps us back from trying things that the Holy Spirit wants us to try. Trust and obey.
Blessings,
Janis
Hi Janis
You are right, dear friend, a friendship and intimate relationship with Pappa, is something we cultivate over time! And like your water paint class instructor wisely said; it can ONLY happen in freedom and grace.

Mia
Mia,
ONce again you were dumped in the spam. We need the freedom to try and even to fail – because that is how we learn.
Blessings,
Janis
