Janis, I am an author and artist too! Your paintings are lovely. I especially like the nature scenes. I like the way you displayed them in a scrolling gallery fashion. You’ve inspired me to do something similar on my blog, once I find the time!
I just went into my recent post on my blog, announcing the new art co-op and realised that I needed to take off comments on the FAQ page and lo and behold, saw yours before turning comments off for that page. Anyway, yes, the expectation will be that everyone only post related to the theme itself directly. 🙂
I came across your drawing of Isaiah 11:1 and we are using this scripture passage for our Christian Life Community meeting in Sydney. Do I have your permission to use the picture to advertise the meeting? Sincerely, Michael Gardner.
Thanks Nancy
Actually that gallery is over about 8 years. There are so many I haven’t put on the gallery. But at least I made it interactive.
Blessings,
Janis
Visiting from Creative Tuesdays – I’m lousy at navigating, so couldn’t find your Pumpkin, but I love all these other pictures. The baby is my favourite 😀
These are so beautiful they made me emotional. I love your variety of expression. Fractured apple, seaside and Venice 2005 were among my favorites but loved them all.
You have a wonderful gift, Jan, I don’t know that I could pick only one favourite but I especially like the greens doors from Venice, and the winter house (very traditional Quebequois) and glacial lake and…see what I mean?
Oh my Jayne – thanks… I have more pictures at home but haven’t taken their pictures. And I go to painting again this week. It is going to be such fun.
Blessings and thank you,
Jan
Oh Michael – you made my day. Would you like a print? I would gladly send you one. You are very special to me and my hubby. We pray for you a lot.
Blessings,
Janis

Well this email is a long time in coming Sarah. Thank you. Did you put a gallery on your website. If so, I would love to see it.
Blessings
