I am starting a NEW HABIT – putting God’s Word out to you on Wednesdays. Hopefully Wednesday’s WORD – will be a habit I can continue for the year. No pictures – just God’s WORD – sitting in front of you to BREATHE in and keep with you for the whole day.
Wednesday’s Word – Enjoy
As I decided on my WORD for 2013 – LIVE, I thought it would be good to find one word a week that comes from God’s word to take me through the week. Enjoy – that is today’s word.
From Jesus Calling by Sarah Young:
“Slow down and enjoy the journey in My presence.”
God will set the pace. If you are doing something in God’s will NOTHING can stop you – but it may take time.
“For nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37 NIV).
“Softly Tenderly Jesus is Calling” has been going through my head the past two days. Here is Anne Murray singing this wonderful hymn. May you ENJOY today.
Please tell me what you heard from God this morning. Drop your comments into the comment box below – link your post if you like.
I love this inspiring music and the pictures of Jesus, Janis!
It reminded me once again how blessed we are who allow HIM into our hearts and our writing, too!
Janie
Yes I love looking at His picture (well an interpretation of what He would love like) and feeling so close and so blessed.
Janis
That is indeed a beautiful hymn, and a beautiful reminder, too – to slow down. I need to hear that one more often. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Mary,
Music is so inspiring to our souls – well the right music. And Yes – we both need to slow down and smell the flowers. I think Write!Canada is going to be the best for me this year as I have connected with so many of our writers. So peace to you – BREATHE in the Spirit,
Blessings,
Janis
lovely just lovely! Thanks for stopping by my blog today (barefootChristianandCrunchy) so I could come and read what you shared today as well! It was refreshing!!!!
Thanks Candace… nice meeting you too.

Such a beautiful reminder of God’s love. The hymn put me in mind of someone I knew, who instead of accepting Jesus as it was sung, turned his back on God. let’s pray all who hear it will respond positively.
Thanks Mary,
That is to bad about your friend. Jesus is at the door and welcomes all who come to Him.
Blessings,
Janis
Beautiful hymn. May your day be blessed with His presence!
Thank you too. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. May your day be filled as well with the awesome presence of our God.
