Tuesday Thoughts – Christmas Cards?

Tuesday Thoughts – Christmas Cards?

I have been working on our annual Christmas letter – a little update on our family and a few pictures. It doesn’t take long and many of our friends and family have expressed delight in watching our family grow.

We take the Word file over to Staples and have them print out the copies, then stuff them in envelopes – and print the address labels (after updating of course).

As I attach each label to the envelope I say a prayer for that family.

What do you do to keep in touch with your family and friends at Christmas?

For to us a Child will be born. To us a Son will be given. And the rule of the nations will be on His shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Teacher, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6 NLV).

  1. Every year I have “intentions” of doing a Christmas letter but I have yet to accomplish this. I do love getting these letters from others though 🙂 Good for you for blessing your loved ones with your families yearly story.

    Blessings on your Christmas season!

    1. Melanie,
Thank you. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth the time but keeping up with our friends, even by snail mail, keeps us together. So I persevere.

      Blessings,
      Janis

I love to connect with you.
