Don’t Criticize – #WOGSLinkup
Who likes to be criticized? No one that I know. So don’t criticize.
Today I looked at Matthew 7:1.
Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
I love these quotes from Oswald Chambers:
In the spiritual domain nothing is accomplished by criticism.
The Holy Ghost is the only One in the true position to criticize. He alone is able to show what is wrong without hurting or wounding.
This ties in well with the past few weeks.
Today is Word of God Speak.
I will be continuing to give you this space to link your wonderful posts but I am going on a blogging holiday for the summer. This week I attend Write!Canada a conference but on by The Word Guild which is for writers and editors who are Christian. I have a Vacation Bible School to run in the first week of July. And my new children’s book has been released. As I write this I am waiting for the books to arrive.
If you are interested in finding out more about my children’s series Growing With God please go to my Bookstore.
Hope the conference and VBS go well! Thanks for hosting 🙂
God bless you at your conference and in your work at VBS!
I so enjoyed seeing the Oswald Chambers quote as I read it earlier this week in Streams 🙂 May you be blessed in all that you will be doing this summer!
My goodness, your schedule is full. I’ll be praying for you as you tackle that VBS — I’m going to miss doing that this year, so I’ll pray for you as you minister. I love that section of Matthew 7 because I always picture my canning jars when it gets to the part that says, “for with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Thanks, once again, for bringing our friend Oswald into the discussion — I need continual reminders that “with the judgment I pronounce, I will be judged,” and to leave the judging, in that sense of the word, up to God.
Blessings, Janis. I’m sure you’ll come home from Write, Canada all fired up and enthusiastic.
Michele,
I always appreciate prayers but especially for this coming week. And I always find Oswald teaches me something new.
Blessings,
Janis
Yes, you’re going to be very busy – I appreciate the way you are extending yourself, and know that you will see God in action through you!
